London Solo | Bermondsey Project Space

My next solo exhibition will take place in London at the Bermondsey Project Space this Autumn. The exhibition will run from Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th October, with the private view on Wednesday 26th October. I'm looking forward to creating a new body of work for the exhibition over the summer.

Anima Mundi | Venice Bienale

Interface IV has been in Anima Mundi - Visions exhibition at the Palazzo Bembo - Venice Grand Canal. The exhibition takes place during the 2022 Venice Biennale from 16th June to 6th July 2022.

The painting is from a series of smaller works on canvas which are based on the human figure but move into abstraction, blurring the lines between drawing and painting with the use of medium and expressive mark making.

British Painting 3 | Bermondsey Project Space

Disappearance I has been selected for British Painting 3 at Bermondsey Project Space. The exhibition includes 50 contemporary artists who use paint as their primary medium.

The private view is on Wednesday 8th June from 6pm to 9pm.

Animation | ACME Studios

The animated version of Eustace and Makepeace - Their Final Encounter was projected at the Childers Street Studios as part of Acme's participation in the We Are Lewisham London Borough of Culture.

The animation was produce by my friend the artist and animator Sian Bliss.

The images are from an artist's book of the same name which was supported by the Arts Council England.

Poems Website | The Poetry Society

The Song of the Expelled Insects published on the The Poetry Society’s Poems website.

The poem was a prize winner in the National Poetry Competition. It is about loss, homelessness, change and renewal. I was going through a divorce at the time of writing, and thought I had lost everything, yet out of this developed an iconography of inner fable, geography and dream that has run through my work ever since - the owl is a flower, the goat is a flame - that everything is part of one metamorphic dance.
